A school teacher Vera Subbotina moves to Moscow and gets a job in a prestigious college. She meets her students and notices a bright and independent student Christina. Despite Christina's complex nature, Vera can manage to build a trust relationship with her. Soon Vera meets her parents. They turn out to be old acquaintances.
