2V Studio is one of the earliest and largest independent producers of TV content in Russia. Established in the early 90s as a production department of Video International, 2V Studio has made more than 4,000 hours of program product for leading Russian TV channels since then. In those years there appeared many still popular programs, such as Home-made Director, Jeopardy!, Family Feud, Child's Play, Dialogues about Animals.

In 1999 2V Studio merged with Gold Vision after which the Studio took up series production. The best known series of the Studio of those years include: March of Turetsky, Men's Work, Code of Honour.

In 2004, 2V Studio launched the production of the series Return of Mukhtar at the commission of the NTV-channel.

In 2006 the Studio took up the production of the Russian version of the world-known series Law & Order. It was the first example of western series succesful adaptation in the history of the Russian television.

Currently the company has its own series library (120 hours).

The Studio works together with such TV-channels as Rossiya 1, NTV, Domashniy, STS, Ren TV, TNT, as well as with the leading international companies FremantleMedia, CBS, NBC, Fox and many others.
